Bojan Adamič (9 August 1912 – 3 November 1995) was a prominent Slovenian composer, arranger, and conductor, born in Ribnica. He earned a degree in piano from the Ljubljana Music Academy. Initially drawn to jazz, Adamič later focused on film, pop, and stage music, composing scores for over 200 Slovene and foreign films. He also acted in two films and conducted music for another two. His work is characterized by a distinctive sound that incorporates folk elements. Adamič served as president of the Society of Slovene Composers and was the conductor of the Ljubljana Radio Television Dance Orchestra for many years, leading its music production starting in 1980. He received the Prešeren Award in 1979 and passed away in 1995 in Ljubljana.
