Bolder Damn is a hard/psychedelic rock band from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, formed in 1967 under the name Souls Image. Initially, they played covers of Jimi Hendrix and The Doors. In 1969, the band changed its name to Bolder Damn, comprising John Anderson (lead vocalist), Glenn Eaton (lead guitar, vocals), Mark Gaspard (keyboards), Ron Refett (bass, vocals), and Bob Eaton (drums). They opened for notable groups such as Blue Cheer, Amboy Dukes, and Alice Cooper. In 1971, Gaspard left, and the band became a four-piece. Shortly thereafter, they recorded their album "Mourning" in a single day's session at Hyperbolic Studios, with only 200 copies pressed, making the originals some of the rarest vinyl artifacts from the international underground hard rock scene. Following the release of the LP, the band disbanded.
