Bomis Prendin is an experimental band from Washington DC, formed in November 1978. The band initially released two flexis in 1979 and 1980, and contributed to a compilation in 1980. They followed up with two more releases in 1984 and 1986. After a 15-year hiatus, they returned in 2001 with a CDR and have continued to record since, releasing CD-Rs and mp3s, while also making their 80s output digitally available. In 2020, their 1984 cassette was reissued on CD and LP. Following the passing of member Candeee, the group added Mike Edwards and has since recorded nine full-length new releases and three archival albums. Bomis Prendin remains an ongoing concern. Current members include: - Bomis Prendin: keyboards, percussion, vocals, scribbling, taping - Corvus Crorson: noise of all kinds - Miles Anderson: lead guitar, vocals, anti-composition - Hungry "Isaac" Hidden: bass, vocals - Mike Edwards: loops, synths, primitive guitar, vague mumblings Former members include Candeee and Bill Altice.
