Booka Shade is a Berlin-based electronic music duo known for their significant impact on the European electronic scene over the past two decades. Originally from Frankfurt, they started with a focus on synth-pop before quickly gaining a dedicated following. In 2002, Booka Shade established a dance label, alongside Thomas "Koch" and others, providing a platform for their own music. Their breakthrough came in 2005 with the release of the 'Mandarine EP' and 'Body Language' (co-produced with M.A.N.D.Y.), both of which achieved international success. They further cemented their status as electronic music pioneers with tracks like 'In White Rooms' and 'Night Falls,' captivating dancefloors worldwide. In 2013, they founded a new label.
