Booker T. Jones is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, arranger, and producer, born on November 12, 1944, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was a founding member of the in-house band in 1962. In 1970, he left Booker T & The MG's and the label to pursue a career as a producer and solo artist. He is the father of two children.
