Boom Pam is a dynamic band that began gaining popularity in the Tel Aviv music scene in the summer of 2003. The group features two electric guitars, a tuba, and drums, creating a unique sound that blends original music with arrangements of Balkan, Jewish, Greek, and Mediterranean songs, all infused with a rock attitude. Their cover of the Greek hit "Boom Pam," originally popularized in 1969 by a renowned Greek singer who immigrated to Israel, became a massive success in collaboration with one of Israel's leading rock stars, achieving high chart rankings. Boom Pam has performed at prestigious venues, including the Tel Aviv Symphony Hall, the Berlin Opera House, and the Schauspiel in Frankfurt, often alongside DJs at Bucovina Club parties. They have collaborated with the Bat Sheva dance ensemble and showcased their talents at various festivals in Zurich, Cologne, the Frankfurt Museum Festival, and Mykonos, while also playing at weddings, parties, and nightclubs across Israel. The band's North American debut took place at globalFEST 2007 in New York City, followed by extensive tours throughout the USA and Canada, where they opened for the legendary Ventures in California and participated in the Winnipeg Folk Festival and the Montreal Jazz Festival.
