Boy Harsher is a minimal synth duo known for their dance beats combined with ethereal vocals, creating a sound that blends electro dance, synth-pop, and confessional storytelling. The project began in early 2013 under the name Teen Dream, focusing on short stories written and read by Matthews, which were then live scored by Muller. In January 2014, the duo adopted the name Boy Harsher.
