Boz Boorer, born on May 19, 1962, in Edgware, North London, is a legendary figure in the rockabilly scene. He has played with numerous bands, including The Polecats, Boz And The Bozmen, Ronnie Dawson, The Deltas, John's Children, Blubbery Hellbellies, Adam Ant, Sonny George, Imelda May, and the psychobilly band Jet Black Machine. Additionally, he has toured Japan with the all-girl rockabilly band The Shillelagh Sisters. Since 1991, Boz has served as Morrissey's musical director, co-songwriter, and guitarist.
