Boz Scaggs is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist, born on June 8, 1944, in Canton, Ohio, USA. He began playing guitar at the age of 12 and was musically active both in America and abroad. In the mid-sixties, he traveled to Sweden, where he had his first solo release. Scaggs gained significant fame with his music and achieved his greatest commercial success in 1976 with a critically acclaimed album. He is also the father of a child.
