Brambles is a project from Melbourne, Australia, originally started by Mark Dawson (now Mira Dawson) around 2011. The project began as a modern classical/ambient endeavor, releasing its debut album in 2012. In 2013, Brambles released a single, followed by another single in 2015, which was recorded in 2013 before the project went on hiatus. In 2019, Brambles made a comeback with a new style, transitioning to ambient pop/downtempo, starting with a single released that year and another in 2020. The project continued to evolve and, in 2022, embraced a completely different sound of hyperpop with the release of the album "Mirror." Mark Dawson/Mira Dawson was born in the UK and is currently a resident of Australia. At the time of the 2012 album release, they were located in Berlin, Germany.
