Brave New World was a rhythm-and-blues group based in Seattle, Washington, active from 1966 to 1973. The original lineup in 1966 included George M. Guilmet as the leader, playing keyboards and providing vocals, Paul Trousdale on lead vocals and as a songwriter, Gus Molvik on lead guitar, Mike Beck on bass, and John Kennedy on drums. Throughout their existence, they had several other members, including drummers Ron Adcock, Bill Brammer, and Randy Espeseth, as well as bassist Ron Foos and keyboardist Mike Whalen. The band's style featured a blend of rhythm-and-blues with a psychedelic sound.
