Briard is a Helsinki-based punk band, recognized as the first Finnish punk band to release a record. They made their debut with a single in November 1977 and disbanded in 1979. The band reunited in 1983 to record an album and again in the mid-1990s. The original lineup in 1977 included Pete Malmi on vocals, Andy McCoy on guitar, Jan Vincent on bass, and Sidi Vainio on drums.
