Bright Future is an American electronic band led by beatmaker and producer Frank Midnite. In 2010, they released 'Blue//Black', a 72-minute lo-fi bedroom pop album on cassette through Nite Thief Records. On December 21, 2012, they followed up with the acclaimed album 'From Earth With Blood', featuring the title track used in a McLaren 650s Spider commercial. Midnite's soundscapes are characterized by goth-inspired post-punk elements, infused with tape hiss and isolation. His music explores a variety of sonic textures and experimental recording techniques, resulting in a smooth, hazy dream that evokes early disco, electro, soul funk, post-punk, and late 70s cinema. Since 2010, he has continued to write and record as Bright Future.
