Brother Reade is a music duo from Winston-Salem, NC, originally formed by MC Jimmy Jamz and Erin Garcia, who began their musical journey in a punk band together. After Jamz relocated to Los Angeles and Garcia went to college in the early 2000s, they came together to create Brother Reade, releasing their first EP in 2005. Their 2007 project, "Rap Music," gained traction within the indie and backpack music scenes. The duo seemed to fade from the spotlight after their 2009 release, "Ralph Lauren." Notably, they were featured in the Delicious Vinyl mixtape "20 Years Fresh: DJ Bobby Evans," released in 2008. Since then, there has been no further news from them.
