Brothers Of The Mind is a Hip-Hop group from NYC, consisting of DJ KrAzY KrAz and MC Lyrical Freestyle. DJ KrAzY KrAz, the DJ, audio engineer, and producer, began his career in April 1992 when he participated in a contest for new rap groups hosted by KRS-One and Pal Joey, the producer of Boogie Down Productions. After competing against 85 auditioning acts, Brothers Of The Mind emerged victorious and signed with Pal Joey Productions. Two years later, they secured a deal with Maxi/Max’n Records, releasing three singles: “Stop Scheming,” “Kick Facts,” and “Rough & Tough,” which were remixed by the BeatMinerz. These singles enjoyed success in the US and Europe; however, due to poor promotions, the project came to an end five years later.
