Bruce Springsteen, born on September 23, 1949, in Long Branch, New Jersey, USA, is an American singer-songwriter and rock musician, famously nicknamed "The Boss." He is renowned for his poetic lyrics, distinctive voice, and energetic stage performances, with roots in the Jersey Shore. Springsteen released his first album in 1973 and is known for his backing group. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (Performer) and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1999. He has an older brother and married on June 8, 1991. The couple welcomed their first child on July 25, 1990.
