Bruno Canfora (November 6, 1924 – August 6, 2017) was an Italian composer, conductor, and arranger born in Milan. He began studying piano at an early age and later studied oboe at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan. During World War II, he performed with his group in Trieste. After the war, he relocated to Turin, where he became the conductor of the Castellino Danze Orchestra. Canfora composed scores for television programs and films and was particularly noted for his contributions to pop music, collaborating with artists such as Mina, Rita Pavone, Ornella Vanoni, Shirley Bassey, and the Kessler Twins. He served as the resident conductor at RAI Television for several decades and was the musical director for the 1961 San Remo Song Festival and the 1991 Eurovision Song Contest.
