Buscabulla is the music project of Puerto Rican designer Raquel Berrios and Luis Alfredo Del Valle, who currently reside in Brooklyn. The name "Buscabulla" is Spanish slang for troublemaker. Their sound is heavily influenced by vintage Latin music, including salsa gorda, Cuban psych, and '80s Argentinian rock. By combining electronic elements with live instrumentation, Buscabulla creates a unique hybrid that blends a mellow Caribbean sensibility with subversive wit.
