Busdriver, born Regan Farquhar, is an underground MC from Los Angeles known for his rapid-fire, jazzy, and free-association style of hip-hop. Often considered an abstract rapper, his lyrics can border on dadaist and even pure nonsense; however, there is typically a concrete message within his fast-paced, stream-of-consciousness rhymes. Notably, Busdriver distinguishes himself from other rappers by rapping to the melody in addition to the beat in some of his songs.
