Bush Tetras is an all-woman band that emerged as a significant presence in New York's club scene during the 1980s. They are known for their distinctive sound, which combines elements of Minimalist, No Wave, and Funk-influenced Punk. Although they never achieved mainstream success, the band and its members paved the way for women in Indie Rock and Punk. They released early material on local labels and have remained active throughout the 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s.
