Bushwackas is a hardcore hip-hop trio from Flatbush, Brooklyn, NY, consisting of Gravedigga, Fish B. One, and the late B.D. Buggz, also known as B.D. Booze. They were active during the golden era of hip-hop in the early 90s. The group gained recognition at the Lyricist Lounge and released their only full-length album, "How Real Israel?", through Pallas Records in 1994. This album is considered a slept-on classic from the golden age, featuring rough rhymes and raw beats that have stood the test of time. In 1995, they released the single "Caught Up In The Game," also under Pallas Records. This track was intended to be part of a forthcoming album titled "Lay It On Me," which ultimately never materialized for unknown reasons. Following this, Bushwackas did not release any further material, although Fish B. One put out a 12" in 1997 featuring B.D. Booze. Their sole album continues to be sought after by many hip-hop enthusiasts.
