Lucas Alcides Cáceres is an Argentinian violinist and composer, holding a degree in Argentine Music from the Universidad Nacional de San Martín and advanced studies in composition at the University of Maimónides in Buenos Aires. As a composer, arranger, and producer for the Orquesta Típica El Afronte, he led the creation of their third album, *Tango Argentino Today* (2019), released under the ACT Music label. This critically acclaimed work was followed by an international tour featuring performances at venues such as the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg and the Berliner Philharmonie. Committed to music education, Lucas co-directs the Tango School Orchestra in Trevelin, Chubut, fostering collaborative practice through classic tango arrangements. In 2023, he contributed to the EP *Arcos al Sur + Jonatan Szer*, blending original compositions with innovative percussion to showcase the cultural richness of the South American region. That same year, he earned the International Category prize at the New Tangos Composition Contest hosted by the National University of Arts in Argentina.
