C-Clamp was a slowcore band formed in the early 1990s in Champaign, IL, later relocating to Chicago, IL. The band primarily consisted of a trio: Tom Fitzgerald (vocals, guitar), Nick Macri (bass, vocals), and Frantz Etienne (drums). After the recording of their second LP, "Longer Waves," in 1999, Frantz Etienne left the group. Following his departure, Tom and Nick played some shows with various drummers before the band quietly faded away.
