C Duncan, born Christopher in 1989 in Glasgow, is the son of two classical musicians. Growing up surrounded by music, he began playing piano and viola before expanding his skills to guitar, bass, and drums during his teenage years in school bands. His passion for classical music led him to enroll at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (now the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) to study music composition, where his works were performed by various ensembles across the UK.
