Caiphus Semenya is a South African composer and musician, known for his marriage to a singer. In the late sixties, he moved to Los Angeles due to the apartheid policies in South Africa, where he collaborated with various artists, including some of his compatriots. In the early nineties, he and his wife returned to South Africa after 26 years of self-imposed exile.
