Canibus is a NYC-based rapper born on December 9, 1974, in Kingston, Jamaica. He gained recognition in the underground freestyle and battle circuits, featuring on cassette and CD mixtapes by DJ Clue and Ron G during the mid-90s. Canibus first made his mark by guesting on tracks by The Lost Boyz, including the classic "Beasts From The East," as well as collaborating with artists like Common and LL Cool J.
