Carcass is a seminal death metal band hailing from Liverpool/Merseyside, UK, founded in 1985. The band disbanded in 1996 but reformed in 2007 for live performances. Since 2012, they have been a fully functional group, creating new music and touring. The current lineup includes Bill Steer on guitar, who has been with the band since its inception, Jeff Walker on bass and vocals since 1986, Daniel Wilding on drums since 2012, and James Blackford on guitar for live performances since 2021.
