Cargo Cult was a short-lived band from Austin, Texas, formed by Randy “Biscuit” Turner on vocals, Duane Denison and Don Davis on guitar, and James Bonney on drums. They released one album, "Strange Men Bearing Gifts," in 1986 through Touch and Go, which was later re-released on CD in 2003. The band disbanded in early 1987 after Duane Denison left Austin, although Chris Massey had joined on drums prior to their breakup.
