Carl Anderson was an American singer and actor, born on February 27, 1945, in Lynchburg, Virginia. He was best known for his role as "Judas Iscariot" in both the Broadway and film versions of the rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar. Anderson passed away on February 23, 2004, in Los Angeles, California.
