Carl Coccomo, known as "The Singin’ Sicilian," is a standards singer born in Omaha, Nebraska. At the age of 18, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a music career. After serving in the Korean War, Coccomo joined the Ken Darby Singers from 1949 to 1959, contributing to Fox film scores such as The Wizard of Oz and Three Coins In The Fountain. As a solo artist, he recorded for labels including Starlight, Liberty, and Capitol. Recently, there has been a resurgence of interest in his music, thanks to its features in television shows like "American Horror Story" (FX), "12 Monkeys" (Syfy), and "Graves" (EPIX).
