Carl Thiel is an award-winning composer and producer based in Austin, Texas. By the late 1990s, he established a state-of-the-art personal project studio spanning 1400 sq. ft. in the Austin Hill Country. In 2001, his work caught the attention of film director Robert Rodriguez, who hired him to produce the theme song for the second Spy Kids film, marking the start of a unique musical journey and ongoing collaboration. Influenced by Robert's innovative production style, Carl has shifted his focus over the past decade from composing for advertising and album production to scoring feature films and TV shows. His recent projects include scoring the third season of "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series" and the independent feature "The Teller and the Truth," which has received positive reviews.
