Carlos Alomar is a Puerto Rican guitarist, composer, arranger, producer, and educator, born on May 7, 1951, in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He is best known for his work with David Bowie, having played on more Bowie albums than any other musician except for another notable artist. Alomar is married to a partner with whom he has children. He is also known by the nickname Carlos "Guitarlos" Alomar when playing bass or guitar.
