Carlos Perón is a Swiss musician born on June 9, 1952, in Zürich, Switzerland. He began his career as a keyboard player with the New Wave band Urland before collaborating with Boris Blank in his first studio. Their early recordings gained attention, and in 1978, they traveled to the USA, where Ralph Records expressed immediate interest in signing them. After meeting Dieter Meier, they formed a trio and released their first 12" on a local label before returning to Ralph Records. Perón remained with Yello until early 1983. In 1981, he released his first solo album, "Impersonator," and in 1983, he composed the successful soundtrack for "Die Schwarze Spinne," which featured his signature track "Komtur." Throughout the 1980s, he produced various releases and soundtracks, exploring genres from experimental music to electro pop. He also established himself as a producer and studio manager, founding his own publishing company. In 1991, he produced an act that helped him build connections with the independent music scene, leading to numerous productions and projects until the early 2000s. Perón was involved in other projects, including AMX 40 and Dark Ruler. Additionally, he created a sublabel to cater to his success as a producer of erotic fetish-oriented scores.
