Carly Simon is an American singer-songwriter born on June 25, 1945, in New York City. She has received two Grammy Awards from fourteen nominations, as well as an Oscar and a Golden Globe. Carly was married from 1972 until their divorce in 1983 and is the mother of two children. She is the daughter of Richard L. Simon, co-founder of a book publishing company, and has siblings, although their names are not provided.
