Caroline Peyton was a talented songwriter, singer, and actress born in Brookhaven, MS, on October 8, 1951. She passed away in Nashville on August 11, 2021, due to a neurodegenerative disease. In the early 1970s, she recorded and performed with the Screaming Gypsy Bandits, releasing her first solo album, "Mock Up," in 1972. Later in her life, her early albums were reissued, and she returned to recording in 1998 and again in 2014. In 2014, she collaborated with other artists.
