Catapilla was an English progressive rock band formed in London in 1970. Their music blended jazz-rock and psychedelic elements, characterized by extended instrumental passages and the distinctive vocals of Anna Meek. The band's lineup featured saxophonists Robert Calvert and Hugh Eaglestone, guitarist Graham Wilson, bassist Dave Taylor, drummer Malcolm Frith, and woodwinds player Thierry Rheinhardt. They released two albums on Vertigo Records: their self-titled debut in 1971 and "Changes" in 1972. Despite their brief existence, Catapilla's experimental approach left a lasting impression on the progressive rock scene.
