Cavolo Nero is a dynamic six-piece band hailing from Utrecht, known for their vibrant blend of afrobeat and groove-oriented music. Drawing inspiration from artists like Nu Genea, Khruangbin, and Jungle By Night, they create psychedelic grooves infused with indie and disco elements. The band features Jelle Crooijmans on bass and vocals, Boudewijn Snijders on keys and vocals, Sjors Derks on guitar, Daan van de Ven on drums and vocals, and Ruben De Ruiter on percussion. Additional vocals are provided by Nana Kruger and Kieran Everts, who contributes spoken word. With an energetic performance style, Cavolo Nero invites audiences to dance to their exotic grooves.
