Celso Piña (6 April 1953 – 21 August 2019) was a renowned Mexican singer, composer, arranger, and accordionist, known for his significant contributions to the Cumbia genre, particularly in the style of "Cumbia rebajada." Born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, he began his career in the early 1980s and earned the nickname "El Rebelde del Acordeón." As a pioneer of the fusion of tropical styles, Piña became one of the most important musicians in his field.
