Cesar Costa, born on August 13, 1941, in Mexico City, Mexico, is a pioneering Mexican Rock 'n Roll singer. He was an original member of a group formed in 1958, which changed its name to Los Camisas Negras the following year. By 1961, he embarked on a solo career and made his acting debut in the film “Juventud Rebelde” the following year. Since then, he has successfully combined his acting and singing careers. He is commonly referred to as “El chico del sweater” (The Sweater Kid) due to his frequent use of sweaters.
