Cevdet Erek is a Turkish artist and musician born in 1974 in Istanbul. He is known for his installation art that incorporates sounds, architectural elements, text, and performance, often aiming to alter the viewer's perception and experience of their environment. Erek is also a drummer and one of the founders of an Istanbul-based experimental rock band. He received the Nam Jun Paik Award in 2012.
