Chantal Curtis was a French vocalist originally from Tunisia, best known for her Disco hits "Get Another Love" and "Hit Man," which were released in America on the Key Records label. Discovered by producer Pierre Jaubert in the late 1970s while she was walking the streets of Paris, Chantal was invited to sing and expressed her desire to find work in music. Her career took a tumultuous turn with the release of her first album, during which she became involved with hard drugs through her boyfriend, Philippe Briche, a talented arranger and pianist. This led to her serving time in prison. While incarcerated, Jaubert released tracks including "Can't You Feel It" and "Disco Dance" under the pseudonym Michele, with the latter becoming a significant hit in France and America. In 1979, Chantal and Jaubert collaborated on the album "Get Another Love," which gained widespread exposure in discotheques and on the radio. Tragically, Chantal Curtis was murdered in Israel in 1985, reportedly as a result of a bullet intended for her boyfriend, as stated by her producer, Pierre Jaubert. Born in Tunisia, Chantal Curtis's life was cut short in 1985 in Israel.
