Charanga del Caribe is a tropical group known for its Argentinian cumbia sound, formed in Argentina during the 1960s. The group is led by Coco Barcala on vocals, with Tuly Márquez (Juan de Dios Márquez) on percussion and vocals, Panamito (Alejandro Jibaja Molero) playing the güiro, Míguez (Miguel Salas del Valle) on guitar, Fredy (Alfredo Skuza) on bass, and Pellegrino (Juan Carlos Cristóforo) on piano.
