Charles Dumont was a French singer, band leader, and composer, born on March 26, 1929, in Cahors, Lot, France. He gained fame in the early 1960s by composing some of the biggest hits for a prominent artist. After her death in 1963, Dumont began his singing career in 1964. He passed away on November 18, 2024, in Paris, France.
