Charles Sheffield was a rhythm and blues singer born on February 16, 1931, in Houston, Texas, USA. He began his recording career in 1955 with Goldband in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Throughout his career, he recorded additional sessions at the same location and in Jay Miller's studio in Crowley, Louisiana, until 1961. His last recording session took place for Tear Drop/Jet Stream in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1965. Charles Sheffield passed away on March 27, 2010, in Beaumont, Texas, USA.
