Chas Jankel is a British musician born in 1952 in London. He began his career as a keyboard player and guitarist for Ian Dury and the Blockheads before transitioning to a solo career in the early 1980s. During this time, he achieved several club and chart hits and made appearances on various soundtracks. His son, Lewis, now produces and records music.
