Cheche Mendoza, also known as José Rafael "Cheche" Mendoza, is a Venezuelan salsa singer and band leader. He founded the band Los Satélites in 1966 in Maracaibo. Cheche is the father of a percussionist who succeeded him as the leader of Los Satélites.
