Chicken y sus Comandos is a Mexican cumbia band that was formed in 1962 in Isla de Cozumel, Quintana Roo, by the Flores brothers. The original members included Manuel, who later left the band, Ismael, who played bass and was also an arranger and composer, and Sabás Tomás on percussion. After their formation, the band moved to Valladolid, Yucatán, and eventually to Mexico City, where they recorded their LPs before returning to Mérida, Yucatán.
