Chico Che, born on December 7, 1945, in Mexico, was a talented musician, composer, and actor. He led a musical group and was known for his ability to play a wide variety of instruments, particularly keyboards, synthesizers, saxophone, and guitar. He studied law for a semester at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and also pursued music there. Chico Che passed away on March 29, 1989, in Mexico. His alias came from the common nicknames used in Tabasco for his name, Francisco "Chico" and José "Che."
