Chico Science & Nação Zumbi is a Brazilian band formed in Recife, PE. They are recognized as one of the most significant groups to emerge from the manguebeat movement in the 1990s. After the tragic death of Chico in a car accident on February 2, 1997, the band continued to perform and create music.
