Chiemi Eri (江利 チエミ, Eri Chiemi) was a popular Japanese singer and actress born on January 11, 1937, in Taitō-ku, Tokyo. She began her singing career at the age of 14 with her rendition of "Tennessee Waltz." Chiemi was married to an actor from 1959 until their divorce in 1971. She passed away on February 13, 1982, in Tokyo, at the age of 45.
